Stimulan Launch Event at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in UAE Revolutionizes Healthcare Outcomes.

Aksia organized an expert meeting led by Prof. Pier Francesco Indelli from Stanford University, and Dr. Pier Luigi Leone, General Manager at Biocomposites for the launch of Stimulan in the UAE. The meeting took place at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City – SSMC (Orthopedic Department) in AbuDhabi. Stimulan, an absorbable calcium sulfate antibiotic carrier, is specifically designed to proactively manage dead space and surgical site infections with unmatched flexibility and a wide range of surgical applications.
The meeting focused on two key areas: Stimulan for Infection Management and the DAPRI technique developed by Prof. Dr. Pier Francesco Indelli for infected revision arthroplasty cases.
